Every successful company relies on a PROVEN SYSTEM to run
and grow their business.
Walk into any McDonald's outlet and you'll notice a proven system in action.
From the cashier who takes your order, to the staff who prepares the burgers down to the person who cleans the toilets – EVERYONE has a SPECIFIC ROLE in the organization and follows a SPECIFIC set of procedures and instructions.
It's no wonder a multi-million business like McDonald's can be run by 17 year old part-timers and even 60 year old
retirees…
… Because McDonald's has a PROVEN SYSTEM!
But unfortunately, not every company in the world uses a PROVEN SYSTEM.
And this explains why close to 90% of all businesses fail within the first 12 months.
In order for a system to be considered PROVEN, it must first generate results that are:
1) Predictable
2) Repeatable
The reason why gambling is NOT a PROVEN SYSTEM and cannot be considered a business (for the casual gambler) is because you can neither ACCURATELY predict your next win, nor repeat your previous win ALL the time!
The bottom line: If you want to run a profitable internet business, learn and use a PROVEN SYSTEM!
Before we end today's lesson, I want to share with you two very important marketing concepts.
I call it the TWO IMMUTABLE LAWS OF MARKETING.
1st Immutable Law Of Marketing – Add Value
If you want to succeed online, always remember that you need to ADD VALUE.
There are 4 ways you can add value online.
1) Help people make money
2) Help people save money
3) Help people save time
4) Help people solve a problem
In other words, before you start your online business, ask yourself how you can help people add value in one or more ways above.
2nd Immutable Law Of Marketing – Be Different
In today's crowded marketplace, there is a need to differentiate our products and services from others in the same marketplace.
The truth is, people SHOP, both offline and online.
They want a great deal – and will compare offers and choose to buy from someone who offers the best deal.
So make sure you have a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) for your products or services.
That's all for today.
